JBS Surveying was founded after a decade working within larger firms, where the process had become too impersonal. Clients were passed through call centres, received generic reporting, and often struggled to speak directly to the surveyor responsible for the advice. JBS was created as a deliberate alternative – a London residential surveying practice built around direct access, clear reporting and measured professional judgement.

At JBS, continuity matters. Clients are not handed from team to team or left trying to interpret a generic report on their own. The practice is structured so that communication is direct, advice is personal, and reporting is designed to be genuinely useful in the real world.
